Red Masquer Executive Board

Heather Umbel, President

Hi my Name is Heather Umbel, and I'm a senior Theater Arts major with a minor in Business. In the theater, you can find me just about everywhere except on stage. I also work as one of the Sound Chairs. I’m so excited to be your Red Masquers President, I hope this season we can come together and strengthen our already welcoming and educational environment. Here's to learning new things!

Travis Barkefelt, Vice President

Travis Barkefelt is a Junior dual major in English and Theater Arts. He is going into his third year as a Red Masquer and is super excited to serve as Vice President and Social Chair for the 2020-2021 school year. He wants more than anything to make sure the Theater can be a home for anyone and everyone and can't wait to see what amazing things the Red Masquers have in store this season!

Olivia Scherrer,

Olivia Scherrer is a junior in the Early Childhood Education program and is starting her graduate work in Special Education. Her favorite shows she has participated in are: One Acts 2018 (Betty), Premiers 42 (Franny), Bloodless Jungle (Laura), and Play in a Day 2020 (Senator Sullivan). As the secretary of the 2020-2021 Red Masquers season, Olivia hopes to get as many new people involved in different positions and to encourage current members to branch out (this includes her, she wants to do more than act). Olivia also realizes she is the second Olivia on the board and is open to obscure nicknames so as not to confuse members! She hopes this year is the best one yet and cannot wait to work with everyone!

Olivia Donia,

Olivia Donia is a senior English and Political Science double major with a minor in German. She is a 4-year Red Masquer, and has been involved with the organization since the very first show her freshman year, Orphie and the Book of Heroes. From there, she has served as the chair and assistant chair of advertising and public relations for the Masquers for the past three years, as well as having lighting design credits on shows such as Dames at Sea, The Bloodless Jungle, and The C-Word. As historian of the Red Masquers in her final year, Olivia hopes to commemorate the hard work done by the organization in these uncertain times.
