Red Masquer Executive Board

Travis Barkefelt, President

Travis Barkefelt is a senior Dual Major in English and Theater Arts at Duquesne. Having been involved with the organization since freshman year, Travis has taken on a number of roles both on and off stage ranging from acting, to run crew, to sound board op, even writing whenever the opportunity presents itself. (He’s a particularly big fan of the biannual Play in a Day event due to its inherently chaotic nature.) In a more official capacity Travis has also served as Social Chair for two years, Vice President last year and is currently serving as the President of this organization, a position he’s both honored and excited to have. This year Travis hopes to revitalize the Red Masquers and bring the organization back better than ever after the difficulties of the previous year. He also hopes to continue his mission of ensuring the theater is a home for everyone, a place where they can feel like they truly belong.

Heather Due, Vice President

Heather is a senior at Duquesne and starting her 4th year as a Red Masquer. She is the hair and makeup chair and has both worked tech and been on stage many times since her freshman year. Being a theater Major, doubling in Theology with a minor in English, she is excited to be on the executive board and help further the organization. Ready to start her new responsibilities hopeful to bring everyone together after this year of unknown and make this organization even better than it has been.
